X3D and the Web3D Consortium are alive and thriving in 2020. I'm still the Humanoid Animation Working Group Co-Chair. The International Standardization Organization ratified the HAnim v2.0 specification this year. The HAnim WG is focused on modeling the adult human body's organs--all 80+ of them. I joined the IEEE Standards Association Industry Connections to participate in the 3D Body Processing standards, P3141. That group considered the X3D file format amongst others for its work. I am preparing for my enterprise architecture certification in the spring and will use the thoughts on lifegraphing for the past 15 years as motivation to pass the FEAC exam with fyling colors.
